At OneDG, our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation, providing a platform to help you get from point A to point B. To do this, we must collect, use and share some of your personal information. This privacy policy is intended to help you understand how OneDG does this and how to exercise the choices and rights you have over your information.
The OneDG privacy home page provides additional information about our commitment to respecting your personal information, including how to access and delete this information.
1. The scope of this policy:
This policy applies to all OneDG users, including passengers and drivers (including driver applicants), and to all OneDG platforms and services, including our applications, websites, features and other services (collectively, the “OneDG platform”). Please remember that your use of the OneDG Platform is also subject to our Terms of Use.
2. Information we collect:
When you use the OneDG Platform, we collect the information you provide, usage information and information about your device. We also collect information about you from other sources such as third-party services and optional programs in which you participate, which we may combine with other information we have about you. Here are the types of information we collect about you:
A. Information you provide to us
Account registration:
When you create an account with OneDG, we collect the information you provide to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and payment information. You may choose to share additional information with us for your Passenger profile, such as your photo or registered addresses (for example, home or work), and set other preferences (such as your preferred pronouns).
Driver Information:
If you apply to become a driver, we will collect the information you provide in your application, including your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, profile picture, physical address, your government identification number (such as your Social Security number), driver’s license information, vehicle information, and automobile insurance information. We collect payment information that you provide to us, including your bank routing numbers and tax information. Depending on where you wish to drive, we may also request additional operating license or permit information or other information to manage driving and programs relevant to that location. We may need additional information from you at some point after you become a driver, including information to confirm your identity (such as a photo).
Ratings and Feedback: When you rate and provide feedback about Passengers or Drivers, we collect all the information you provide in your feedback.
Communications: When you contact us or we contact you, we collect any information you provide, including the content of any messages or attachments you send to us.
B. Information we collect when you use the OneDG platform
Location Information: Great hikes start with easy and precise pickup. The OneDG Platform collects location information (including GPS and Wi-Fi data) differently depending on your OneDG app settings and device permissions, as well as whether you are using the Platform as a passenger or driver:
Usage Information: We collect information about your use of the OneDG Platform, including journey information such as date, time, destination, distance, route, payment and whether you have used a promotional or referral code. We also collect information about your interactions with the OneDG platform, such as our applications and websites, including the pages and content you view and the dates and times of your use.
Device Information: We collect information about the devices you use to access the OneDG Platform, including device model, IP address, browser type, operating system version , carrier and manufacturer identity, radio type (like 4G), preferences and settings (like preferred language), app installations, device IDs, advertising IDs, and push notification tokens. If you are a driver, we also collect mobile sensor data from your device (such as speed, direction, height, acceleration, deceleration and other technical data).
Communications between passengers and drivers: We work with a third party to facilitate phone calls and text messages between passengers and drivers without sharing either party’s actual phone number with the other. But while we use a third party to provide the communications service, we collect information about those communications, including participants’ phone numbers, date and time, and the content of SMS messages. For security reasons, we may also monitor or record the content of phone calls made through the OneDG Platform, but we will always notify you that we are about to do so before the call begins.
Address Book Contacts: You can set your device permissions to grant OneDG access to your contact lists and direct OneDG to access your contact list, for example to help you refer friends to OneDG. If you do this, we will access and store the names and contact details of people in your address book.
Cookies, Analytics and Third Party Technologies: We collect information through the use of “cookies”, tracking pixels, data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, SDKs and other third party technologies to understand how you Browse the OneDG platform and interact with OneDG ads, to make your OneDG experience safer. , to find out what content is popular, to improve your experience on the site, to provide you with better ads on other sites and to save your preferences. Cookies are small text files that web servers place on your device; they are designed to store basic information and to help websites and applications recognize your browser. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and can be accessed each time you use the OneDG Platform. You should visit your web browser(s) to change your cookie settings. Please note that if you delete or choose not to accept cookies from us, you may miss certain features of the OneDG platform.
C. Information we collect from third parties:
Third Party Services: Third Party Services provide us with information necessary for key aspects of the OneDG Platform, as well as additional services, programs, loyalty benefits and promotions that may enhance your OneDG experience. These third party services include background check providers, insurance partners, financial service providers, marketing providers and other companies. We obtain the following information about you from these third-party services:
Business Programs: If you use OneDG through your employer or other organization that participates in one of our OneDG Business programs, we will collect information about you from those parties, such as your name and contact details.
Concierge Service: Sometimes another company or entity may order a OneDG ride for you. If an organization has ordered a ride for you using our concierge service, they will provide us with your contact details and the pickup and drop-off location for your ride.
Referral Programs: Friends help friends use the OneDG platform. If someone refers you to OneDG, we will collect information about you from that referral, including your name and contact details.
Other Users and Sources: Other users or public or third-party sources such as law enforcement, insurers, media or pedestrians may provide us with information about you, for example in connection with an investigation into a incident or to provide you with assistance.

Maintaining the safety and security of the OneDG platform and its users: Providing you with a safe and secure experience is the driving force behind our platform, both on the road and on our applications. To do this, we use your personal information to:

Respond to Legal Processes and Requirements: Sometimes the law, government entities or other regulatory bodies impose requirements and obligations on us with respect to the services we seek to provide. In such a circumstance, we may use your personal information to fulfill these requests or obligations.
4. How we share your information:
We do not sell your personal information. To operate the OneDG Platform, we may need to share your personal information with other users, third parties and service providers. This section explains when and why we share your information.
A. Sharing between OneDG users:
Passengers and Drivers:
Passenger Information Upon receiving a ride request, we share with the driver the driver’s pickup location, name, profile picture, rating, driver stats (like the approximate number of trips and years as a driver) and the information the driver includes in their driver profile (such as pronoun preferences). Upon pick-up and during the journey, we share with the driver the passenger’s destination and any additional stops entered by the passenger in the OneDG app. Once the ride is completed, we also share the rider’s rating and feedback with the driver. (We remove the Passenger identity associated with ratings and comments when we share them with Drivers, but a Driver may be able to identify the Passenger who provided the rating or comments.)
Driver Information Shared with Passenger: When a Driver accepts a requested ride, we will share with the Driver the Driver’s name, profile photo, preferred pronouns, rating, real-time location and brand, the vehicle model, color, and license plate, as well as other information in the driver’s OneDG profile, such as information that drivers choose to add (like the country flag and why you are driving ) and driver statistics (such as approximate number of trips and years as a driver).
Although we help Riders and Drivers communicate with each other to arrange a pick-up, we do not share your actual phone number or other contact information with other users. If you report a lost or found item to us, we will seek to put you in contact with the relevant Passenger or Driver, including sharing actual contact details with your consent.
Rideshare Passengers: When passengers use a OneDG shared ride, we share each passenger’s name and profile photo to ensure safety. Passengers can also see each other’s pick-up and drop-off locations as part of route awareness while sharing the ride.
Rides requested or paid for by others: Some trips you take may be requested or paid for by others. If you take one of these trips using your OneDG Business Profile account, a code or coupon, a subsidized program (e.g. public transit or government), or a card company credit linked to another account, or if another user requests or pays for a ride for you, we may share some or all of the details of your ride with that other party, including the date, time, price, the rating given, the region of the journey and the pick-up and drop-off location of your journey.
Referral Programs: If you refer someone to the OneDG platform, we will let them know that you generated the referral. If another user has referred you, we may share information about your use of the OneDG Platform with that user. For example, a referral source may receive a bonus when you join the OneDG platform or complete a certain number of rides and would receive this information.
B. Sharing with Third Party Service Providers for Commercial Purposes:
Depending on whether you are a Passenger or a Driver, OneDG may share the following categories of your personal information for business purposes (as we have done in the preceding 12 months) to provide you with a variety of features and services of the OneDG Platform:

We may share your personal information in response to a legal obligation, or if we have determined that sharing your personal information is reasonably necessary or appropriate to:

With your permission or at your direction, we may disclose your personal information to interact with a third party or for other purposes.
5. How we store and protect your information:
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide you and our other users with the OneDG platform. This means that we retain your profile information for as long as you maintain an account. We retain transactional information such as groceries and payments for at least seven years to ensure we can perform legitimate business functions, such as accounting for tax obligations. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your information as described in the “Deleting Your Account” section below.
We take reasonable and appropriate measures designed to protect your personal information. But no security measure can be 100% effective, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information, including against unauthorized intrusions or acts of third parties.
6. Your rights and choices regarding your data:
As explained in more detail below and on our privacy homepage, OneDG provides you with ways to access and delete your personal information, as well as to exercise other rights over the data that give you some control over your personal information.
A. All users:
Email Subscriptions: You can always unsubscribe from our commercial or promotional emails by clicking unsubscribe in those messages. We will always send you transactional and relational emails regarding your use of the OneDG platform.
Text Messages: You can opt out of receiving commercial or promotional SMS messages by texting the word END to (app number) from the mobile device receiving the messages. You may also opt out of receiving all SMS messages from OneDG (including transactional or relationship messages) by texting the word STOPALL to (app number) from the mobile device receiving the messages. Note that refusing to receive all SMS messages may have an impact on your use of the OneDG platform. Drivers can also turn off driver-specific messages by texting STOP in response to a driver text message. To reactivate SMS messages, you can text START in response to an unsubscribe confirmation SMS message.
Push Notifications: You can opt out of receiving push notifications through your device settings. Please note that opting out of receiving push notifications may impact your use of the OneDG Platform (such as receiving a notification that your ride has arrived).
Profile Information: You can view and edit certain account information that you have chosen to add to your profile by logging into your account settings and your profile.
Location Information: You can prevent your device from sharing location information through your device’s system settings. But if you do so, it may impact OneDG’s ability to provide you with our full range of features and services.
Cookie Tracking: You can change your cookie settings on your browser, but if you delete or choose not to accept our cookies, you may miss some features of the OneDG platform.
Do Not Track: Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to tell operators of websites and web applications and services that you do not want them to track your online activities. The OneDG platform does not currently support Do Not Track requests at this time.
Deleting your account: If you would like to delete your OneDG account, please visit our privacy homepage. In some cases, we will not be able to delete your account, for example if there is a problem with your account related to trust, security or fraud. When we delete your account, we may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or to comply with legal or regulatory obligations. For example, we may retain your information to resolve open insurance claims, or we may be required to retain your information in connection with an open legal claim. When we store this data, we do so in a way that prevents it from being used for other purposes.
B. California Residents:

Know your rights: You have the right to know and see what data we have collected about you over the last 12 months, including:
Right to Deletion: You have the right to ask us to delete the personal information we have collected from you (and to ask our service providers to do the same). There are a number of exceptions, however, which include, but are not limited to, when the information is necessary for us or a third party to do any of the following:
Other Rights: You may request certain information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. This request is free and can be made once a year. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of the rights listed above.
Exercising Your California Privacy Rights: To request access to or deletion of your personal information, or to exercise any other data rights under California law, please contact us using one of the following methods:
Website: You can visit our privacy home page to authenticate and exercise your rights through our website.
Web form by email: you can write to us to exercise your rights.
To fulfill certain rights, we will need to verify your request either by asking you to log in and authenticate your account, or by verifying your identity by providing information about yourself or your account. Authorized agents may make a request on your behalf if you have given them legal power of attorney or if we receive proof of signed authorization, verification of your identity, and confirmation that you have given the agent authorization to submit Requirement.
Response Time and Format: We aim to respond to a consumer’s request for access or deletion within 45 days of receipt of that request. If we need more time, we will notify you in writing of the reason and the extension period.
7. Data about children:
OneDG is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us through our Help Center.
8. Links to Third Party Websites:
The OneDG Platform may contain links to third-party websites. These websites may have privacy policies different from ours. We are not responsible for these websites and recommend that you review their policies. Please contact these websites directly if you have any questions about their privacy policies.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy:
We may update this policy from time to time as the OneDG Platform changes and privacy law evolves. If we update it, we will do so online, and if we make significant changes, we will notify you via the OneDG platform or another communication method such as email. When you use OneDG, you agree to the most current terms of this policy.

If you have any questions or concerns about your privacy or anything in this policy, including if you need to access this policy in an alternative format, we encourage you to contact us.
11. Contact Information:
We welcome your comments regarding this Privacy Statement to the contact address provided on the App. If there is a concern that this Privacy Policy has been violated, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to remedy the violation. The terms of this policy may be changed by us at any time. If you have any concerns about this policy or the services we offer, please do not hesitate to write to us.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, all users or visitors to the Application agree that they have read the terms mentioned in this Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by them for so long as they continue to use the Application or to benefit from the Company’s Services.
12. Permissions:
We use the following set of permissions for input purposes only. These permissions are not used to store any type of user’s personal information:
The above permissions are used distinctly to capture camera data, view phone status and read contact to browse contact subtleties for a crisis call. Customer information taken under authorization is secured appropriately and in accordance with Google consent law.
Location authorization statement:
The above authorization is used for access location after authorizing the user for accurate delivery of the product to the customer’s doorstep. The location service is used under the Privacy Policy of the Google Play Developer Program Policies. We do not share any type of location data or customer information for additional resources. We assure the customer of safe and accurate delivery with confidentiality taken under authorization is properly secured and under the law of Google consent.
ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION
Above the location background, permission is used for tracking delivery/service (e.g. food, parcel) on the user side. The location service is used under the Privacy Policy of the Google Play Developer Program Policies. We do not share any type of location data or customer information as additional resources taken under authorization are properly secured and comply with Google’s consent law.
